Demonstration Saturday 7 November 2009 In Ranua, Finland Against Uranium Projects

A uranium claim has been made for an area bigger than a hundred square km
in Ranua and Rovaniemi municipalities. Come along to demonstrate and give
your support to stopping the uranium projects threathening our clean
living environment!

Assembly at the yard of the municipal house at Aapiskuja at 11.30 am, from
where the march leaves for hillatori square at 12 pm. At hillatori will be
speeches, program and warm juice. We ask that children participating
should wear Safety reflector vests!


PUBLIC EVENT ABOUT URANIUM

After the demonstration a public event will take place at Ranua's
primary school, Aapiskuja 6, at 15 pm. Before the discussion
presentations will be given by Prof. Inge Schmitz-Feuerhake,
anthropologist Ulla Valovesi and teacher Ulla Klötzer. Before the
event it's possible to get a cheap meal of food at the school.

A bus transport from Rovaniemi is planned, more info later.
