
C4.Inside the Key Lake Mill. This mill concentrates uranium ore from the Key Lake  mine. Through a series of chemical leaching processes, crushed ore is  transformed into a fine uranium oxide powder called yellowcake. Most of the  radioactive rock entering the mill leaves as a sandy waste that still contains  85% of the ore's original radioactivity.
