Preliminary program:

In 2018, the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) and the International Commission on Radiation Units and Measurements (ICRU) celebrate their respective 90th anniversaries. This is due to both of the organisations having officially launched their work as of the second International Congress of Radiology, held in Stockholm back in 1928. To celebrate these anniversaries, the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority, in collaboration with ICRP and ICRU, will host a two-day colloquium in Stockholm on 17-18 October 2018.

The 90th Anniversary Colloquium will highlight 90 years of radiation science and radiation protection, with a focus on what is on the horizon in terms of developments in the sciences and the evolution of society. Speakers are invited and the programme will include several panel sessions for discussing interesting topics and future perspectives.

The colloquium will offer key insights to those who work in the field of radiological protection, or whose work relates to this field.
